The 17 Chapel Boutique Condominiums are sponsored and developed by 17 Chapel, L.L.C., owned by the father and son team, Jack Rosenblum and Seth Rosenblum.
The Rosenblums are active in real estate development and management in Albany and the Capital Region through their management company, Rosenblum Development Corporation. Rosenblum Development is locally run and operated, and respected for its hands-on management and ownership. The company provides fastidiously cared for properties at premium locations. The standards for how Rosenblum runs its business are reflected in every member of the team, and every square foot of its buildings.
In 1979, Jack Rosenblum founded the company and became the first to develop office properties on Washington Avenue Extension in the City of Albany. During the 1980s, the company completed eight buildings within the Corporate Plaza location, and two additional buildings across Washington Avenue Extension. Corporate Plaza is still managed and operated by Rosenblum Development and its affiliates, offering over 150,000 square feet of space.
In 1989, the company acquired and developed what is still the premier suburban office park in Albany, Great Oaks Office Park. Situated at the nexus of the area's major transportation routes, the three buildings of Great Oaks Office Park encompass over 200,000 square feet of office space.
Jack Rosenblum was born and raised in Cohoes and is a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy. He has been in the real estate development and management business for over 35 years and is a licensed real estate broker.
Seth Rosenblum is a native of Albany and received a bachelor’s degree from Boston University School of Management with a concentration in Finance. Seth has 10 years experience in residential and commercial real estate management and brokerage, and is a licensed real estate broker.
